Wonders of rain
Today they ended the 'Knight Realms' event early due to the rain and the forcast for snow. I arrived home after a long drive in a torential downpour, and sat down to relax be fore I showered. Now it looks like I won't be able to tonight. You see the rain is so hard and plentiful that our basement has flooded.
THis may not seem so strange, but when Floyd (the hurricane) came through, we barely got a tricle of water in the baesment. Today, there are 4 inches of water down there, and it's coming in through the foundation.
Luckily, most things were located on shelves and or on top of plastic bins.
The roads around here are flooded badly, and may not clear by morning.
