Title: Meet Me Halfway 1/?

Word count: 1 600 ish
Ships: Jack/Ianto (meeting halfway, right, people?! ^_~)
Summary: Ianto can try to put all that's happened behind him and walk his half of the way. Jack can bring himself to be as honest as possible and do his half of the road. It should fit, but life isn't about compromises. Ianto won't tell the truth about himself and Jack won't trust, won't let himself fall just a little bit more - so that's where they are, halfway to somewhere. At an impasse.
Disclaimer: I don't own Torchwood or Doom or Doctor Who - the characters, idea, situations, etc. - nothing really. Rednex song isn't mine either.
A/N - So, this is *important*, this story is a sequel to Wish You Were Here which is sequel to Call To Arms. I hope to fix the masterpost soon, but for now the links will take you to the first post of those stories. As previously I'll try to follow episodes as closely as possible while not *re*writing them. MMH should span from s01ep05 until Everybody Keeps Killing Suzie.
Also (as it's becoming a tradition) this story is named after a song that kinda inspired it - Meet Me Halfway by Black Eyed Peace.
Any questions - I'll be happy to answer and/or spoiler you, enjoy the story and, oh, I fit into my 48 hour limit ^^ Also I'm getting quite *pissed* at LJ cut which doesn't seem to want to cooperate so this is an un-cut post. >< |
